Yet another day at the beach
Man, this place is amazing and I love winter once again. That is the particular type of winter that isn't filled with snowstorms, flurries, blizzards, etc., where you can live every Friday as if it were a warm vacation.
Guillermo, on the right, is my roommate from Peru. He's ten times more crazy than I am and full of energy...needless to say we have an amazing time (loco). Omar is an German-Iraqi I met here with the group of German party goers. This is the group that normally goes with us to the beach on Fridays.

So happy to hear that you are having an amazing time in the UAE. I got an e-mail from you roomate Guillermo about 2 weeks ago that made me realize what a small world we live in. Last March I went to an AIESEC Conference EXPROS2004. In Venezuela I had the most amazing roomate Tula from Peru. I met all the Peruvians at the conference and hung out lots including Sandra and Paola. We all keep in touch and just before Christmas Sandra was on her way to New Hampshire to work at a ski resort and we spent a day hanging out on her way through the city. She had pictures from Peru and was telling me about some trips, her friends etc. She mentions Guillermo and how he is doing a traineeship in UAE. I introduce her to Salaam and let her know that you and my friend Ibrahim are in the UAE. So I get Guillermo's e-mail and introduce myself. He writes back about 1 month later and tells me he has an awesome roomate from Michigan! He didn't know I was from Michigan or that I wanted to introduce you to him...you guys just happened upon eachother! That is truely amazing- the AIESEC network is so incredible ;) Enjoy! Hey Eric- when you get back from UAE want to take a trip to Peru with me?? I have lots of friends I want to visit :)
